Product Description

Cotton Labo Abura Katametai Used Cooking Oil Solidifier turns hot, used frying oil into a firm mass that is easier to lift from a pan and dispose of without pouring liquid grease down the sink.

It is a practical household essential for Singapore kitchens that regularly prepare fried food and want a tidier method for handling cooled cooking oil. The compact sachets are simple to store and remove the need to estimate a loose powder dose.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Ten individually measured solidifier sachets in one box
  • Plant-derived solidifying ingredient
  • Sets the oil and fried-food residue into one removable mass

How to Use

  1. Turn off the heat immediately after cooking.
  2. While the oil is still approximately 80°C or hotter, add the appropriate amount of solidifier—one sachet for up to about 600ml.
  3. Stir until the powder has fully dissolved.
  4. Leave the pan in a stable, safe place for about one hour, or until the oil has cooled and solidified.
  5. Lift out the solid mass and dispose of it according to local household-waste rules.

Cleaning and Care

  • Not food. Keep the sachets and treated oil away from children and pets.
  • Do not reuse solidified oil for cooking.
  • Never leave reheating oil unattended and do not overheat it.
  • Do not pour the product or treated oil into a drain.

Product Questions

Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. The premeasured sachets provide clear dosing for a first-time user; add the product only as directed and allow the treated oil to set fully before disposal.
